Who are you?
TARAASI is an upcoming clothing brand situated in the city of lakes,Bhopal. We firmly believe in ethical and sustainable business practices and fair trade. Our designs are an ode to minimalist sensibilities that are handmade in India. Our mission is to empower women in the workforce and make them financially independent for their day to day needs.
What are the modes of shopping and payment you use?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, PayPal, Bank transfer and COD (cash on delivery) for online orders.
If you like something online but do not use online modes of payment, we also accept direct bank transfers.

Please remember to add a shipping fee of Rs.100 when you’re making a direct bank transfer. Once you’ve made the payment, send us a receipt with your order, address and contact details, and we’ll process your order.
Do you retail through physical stores?
Our workshop in Bhopal is extended into a small showcasing unit. We are open from Monday to Saturday between 11am to 6pm.

What is your return & exchange policy?
- We offer exchange in sizes for all non-discounted items on our website. If the ordered piece doesn't fit you, please ship us the piece back with a small note of your size requirements, and send us an email at info@taraasi.com.
- Exchanges and returns will not be accepted for any customized order. A product is eligible for exchange/return only if it is a standard product.
- We do not accept exchange & returns for any order shipped internationally unless the fault is at our end meaning that the product is defective or a wrong item/size was shipped. Therefore, we request you to go through the measurements chart carefully.
- We will not entertain exchanges any later than 15 days. If you wish to return/exchange a piece, please send us a mail within 1 week of receiving your order..
- Please read item descriptions carefully and note sizes of products. Please also know monitors are calibrated differently and colors, while may be close, may not be 100% accurate. In the event of an exchange, the buyer is responsible for return shipping fees.
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Friendly suggestion
If you are shipping an item over Rs 2000, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refund Policy
In case of damaged/defective products, refunds will be initiated through the same mode as the payment within 10 working days.
-Please note that order fulfillment timeline does not include unforeseen and not in our control delays in the event of a natural disaster, war, calamity or epidemic. In such circumstances, your order will be processed and dispatched after our production and supply chains resume smoothly when any of the above events have passed.

What are your shipping charges?
We ship in India as well as internationally with reliable courier partners. The prices vary according to the size of the package.
India: Rs.100 & above.
International: Rs. 500 & above. (varies with shipping zones)
Please check for the shipping price on the item you want to purchase. We have no control over delays related with customs and custom charges. They vary from one country to another.
How soon will my order reach me?
Since we only work on a made-to-order model, please understand that we don't keep inventory and your order will be made from scratch which can take anywhere between 7-10 working days, with an additional shipping time of about 3-4 days for domestic orders and 5-6 days for international orders.
What if I like a piece that is out of stock now?
If a design you like is out of stock, it is because we don’t have that fabric anymore. If you like the style and are okay to go with a different fabric from our webshop, we’d willingly customize it for you!
Are duties charged on international orders?
We have no control over duty charges. usually for smaller order there are no duty fee charged to the customer. But any duty charges are local to the law of the buyers country. These if charged have to be borne by the buyer.
How do I know you’ve shipped my order?
Tracking details are mailed to you after we ship your order.
Do you customize clothes? If yes, is it charged extra?
Yes, we customize for a perfect fit.
We don’t charge anything extra for basic length alterations or minor alterations, however if the piece requires to be entirely customized, the customization charges vary between 5%-25% of the MRP of the product depending on the amount of customization.
What is the procedure for getting clothes customized?
While placing an order, we have a notes section at the checkout page where you can mention your customization details or simply watsapp us on +919589474900 and mention your measurements and we’ll have everything made accordingly. There is absolutely no additional cost for sizes beyond XXL.
From where do you source your fabrics?
We source our fabrics from weavers across the country.
We are open from Monday to Saturday between 11 am to 6 pm.
